The heart of our ministry is graduate student communities who make Christ known within their academic and professional worlds. Together, graduate students, faculty & alumni seek to work, live, and think as Christ’s disciples within their fields of choice. The core ministry focuses on spiritual formation, community, evangelism & service, and the integration of faith, learning, and practice (read the Preview).
How does and might that manifest on campus?
Coffee Club for conversation & mentoring: An opportunity to interact once, or ongoing, in a meaningful way with campus staff, a peer, or a community leader about life, faith, and vocation. √ Grab coffee!
Graduate Cohort exploring monthly topics of Faith and… Life, Academics, Vocation, and Global Engagement: A more intentional gathering with other graduate students for a block of time that engages the topic from multiple aspects, including manuscript Bible study & prayer, plenary integration sessions, and social connection to others in a cohort setting with 6-10 people. The first Graduate Cohort begins in October. √ Sign Up for a Cohort!
Discipleship Groups to go deeper into God’s Word and prayer: a core foundation of exploring or living as Christ followers is knowing God’s Word (Bible) through study, engagement, and discussion together. √ Join the Wednesday night study of Jesus at 7 pm in the Alumni Room of Atwood Memorial Center (near the theater).
Collaborations with other ministries for missions and faith & academy forums are special events that draw on the larger Christian community of scholars, professionals, and speakers on issues of faith and culture or vocation.
